The Technical Department support is one of the most important services ANIMA
offers to the associated companies that, since the last few years, have
to deal with the change introduced by the new EEC rules.
Since the issuing of the first European directives, ANIMA Technical Area
has followed all the problems linked to their application and has built
strong relationship with both the European Commission an the national governments
involved: therefore, this has allowed ANIMA Technical Area to look after
Italian companies interests and to keep them constantly updated.
The Technical Department, that always offers a valid support to the associated
companies, is now widening its services also for all matters related to
the system and product certifications and the safety of work places, by
signing new agreements with the Certification Bodies.
It has to be reminded, indeed, the agreements signed during 2000 with Bodies
operating in both compulsory and voluntary product and system certification
fields.
A particular agreement has been drew up with NEMKO SpA, concerning the application
of the Directive 200/14/CE relating to the noise emission in the environment
by equipment for use outdoors, with favourable prices for the associates.
Wider is the agreement with ICIM SpA, inclusive of all directives ICIM is
or will be notified for, the voluntary product/system certification and
the training programs.
With regard to the standards activity, members of Technical Department attend
most of national and international standardization bodies working groups
and are currently working together with national government in order to
take in the national laws the European developed standards.
A significant work has been carried out in the last few year about the updating
of fire prevention legislation. Many working groups have been established,
both at confederal and ministerial level, thank to the non-stop dialogue
with the institutions.
