UAMI
is the acronym - in abbreviated form - of the association of Italian companies
dealing with assembly engineering, material supply, construction, assembly,
maintenance, commissioning and start-up of industrial and infrastructural
plants, in Italy and abroad.
UAMI was founded in 1971 within ANIMA. Therefore it is present, through
ANIMA, in Confindustria and is part of the relevant committees (statistical
surveys, fares and travel expanses, and so on).
UAMI, a non-profit organization, is meant to study, promote and carry
out initiatives and services, to whom the supporting companies are jointly
interested.
UAMI is autonomous in management, operation and as an outside agency and,
in accordance with ANIMA statute and within its limits, represent the
partner companies in any appropriate situation to carry out any action
to promote and protect common interests, except any trade union involvement.
UAMI promotes the study of problems connected to peculiar management of
partner companies. On an indicative and not exhaustive basis, is meant
to address functional areas - commercial, engineering, procurement, quality
control and safety.
All information of possible interest to the partners about common problems,
and even about problems peculiar to any specific company, can be retrieved
on the ANIMA site.
UAMI promotes meetings with any organization, association or other parts
to search and debate common problems.
UAMI intends to establish restricted work teams (partners and professionals)
to:
study legal, fiscal and civil problems
related to enterprise risk and contract management.
study contracts, work law and human
resources management.
UAMI has strengthened its cooperation relationships with other similar
organizations of the industry. That pertains primarily to ANCE, ASSISTAL,
OICE, ANIMP, ANICTA and so on, with the purpose also to arrive to draw
class contracts, taking into account common principles and needs, also
regarding public contracts and more extensively, capable of normalizing
contractual relationships with customers.
Eventually, UAMI intends to foster and develop technical and specific
cooperation among partner companies and makes this industry known to the
economic and political Italian word, also to stimulate the current favourable
situation of our companies which operate abroad.
