 AISEM
is the result of combination of two Associations already, individually,
associated to ANIMA: UCICIS and UST.Today AISEM Association groups the most leading manufacturers of machinery for handling, elevating and lifting of materials and people. AISEM represents about 75% of national production for a value of more than 1,8 billion euro. About 40% of production is exported. AISEM operates in the following fields: • Unitary and heavy lifting machinery • Continuos transport system • Industrial trucks • Accessory and auxiliary equipment • Mobil cranes • Serial lifting and hoists • Materials and people lifting platforms • Storage and retrieval machines and stacker cranes Mission of AISEM is to examine and to solve specific technical and legal problems for this industry. AISEM assures full information service useful for the productive activity of all Associates. To perform its duty AISEM collaborates with several technical committees of CEN (European Standardization Committee) and through active participation of Its delegates is enforcing the technical standards necessary to respect European Directive and free circulation of products. AISEM promotes development, knowledge, circulation, basic discussion of all other standards useful to improve above all the quality of products related to different sectors AISEM is active in organizing trade exhibitions like MOVINT, seminars, conventions, Congresses. AISEM is officially member of FEM (Federation Europeen de la anutention), and it is well connected with all the other continental Associations of similar industries and therefore it is frequently and deeply involved in the European Commission in order to express the position of Italian industry. FEM is the Federation Europeen de la Manutention that has gathered, since 1953, the most important European manufacturers.  aisem@anima-it.com
